2 minutes guide for the first visitors |

One of the distinctive features of WinPresenter is its easy-to-use interface. During this 2-minute lesson, we will cover all the main features, and you will discover how easy it is to use WinPresenter. To Run WinPresenter, double-click WinPresenter icon on your desktop.

This is the first screen you will encounter as shown above. Let's click “Open” button to import a Microsoft PowerPoint file.
You will see Open dialog box as shown below. |

For convenience sake, a file named “Sample Document to be imported” is ready and will be opened. You may open any Microsoft PowerPoint file saved in your folder.
Click on the file name to be imported and Open.
Now you will see the first slide on Slide Window as shown below. |

Now, let's add two more slides.
Click Capture button and you will be prompted with Screen Capture dialog box. |

Select Capture Imported Documents and click Browse to import any type of document among *.doc, *.xsl, *.hwp, *.pdf, *.bmp, *.jpg, and *.gif in the same manner as you have imported a PowerPoint file previously.
When you try to open a file, you will be prompted with File Download dialog box as shown below. Click Open. |

You will see the imported documents on Slide Window. You can locate desired contents and click Capture in Screen Capture dialog box. |

Now, let's add one more slide by capturing a computer screen.
Select Capture Screen from Screen Capture dialog box and click Capture. WinPresenter Capture Screen will appear on your computer screen. When you find the desired screen by clicking and dragging the title bar of Capture Screen, click Capture. |

After the desired screen is captured, WinPresenter dialog box will appear as shown below. Click OK. |

Click Close on Capture Screen if you do not want to capture any more screens.
You can now see how many slides you have imported and captured by looking at Slide List Window as shown below. |

Now, click Properties button and you will see Properties dialog box.
Click Profile tab from Properties dialog box and you can select recording quality from the Profile drop-down menu as shown below. Select Profile_AV_100K(Audio&Video) |

Click Video/Prompter tab. |

If a webcam is installed on your computer, select Use Web Cam from Video Source and check Use Prompter from Prompter.
Click Devices tab to check if audio and video are set to appropriate audio and video devices as shown below. |

Click OK to continue.
Now, let's rename each slide's title by right-clicking on it as shown below. |

When you right-click on a slide's title, you will see a box written as “Rename”. Click the box and type a new name for the slide.
There is one more optional step to follow before starting to record.
Click Prompter button and you will see the Prompter Screen activated below Video Window. For each slide, you can prepare what you will talk about by writing contents on the Prompter Screen for presentation, set the time limit, and give special effects. |

Click on Prompter Screen and you can write what you will speak during the presentation. Let's write some sentences to introduce yourself as shown below. |

Now, click on the time drop-down menu marked as Sec. and click 20 so that it will move onto Slide 2 after you give presentation about Slide 1 for 20 seconds. Then, click Switching in the Effect drop-down menu as shown below. |

You may set your time limit and design your presentation mode for each slide by selecting each slide and modifying each of them.
Now, it's time to record your presentation.
Click to start recording.
If a webcam is installed on your computer, you will see Video Window activated as soon as recording begins. |

While you are recording, you will see the remaining time to present the first slide as shown above since you have already set 20 seconds for the first slide. Then, it will automatically move onto the second slide.
Now, let's utilize the toolbar to emphasize on what you are presenting by writing, drawing figures, adding symbols, and changing colors. |

After you watch the recorded contents, you may close WinPresenter Player by clicking Close button.
Now you may save the recorded contents by clicking Save button. Select the folder and type in file name. It will be saved as NPP file as shown below. |

So far, you have prepared your presentation by importing documents, capturing screens and utilizing Prompter Screens and then, you have recorded your presentation by recording your voice, drawing figures, adding symbols, and writing. These are all the steps you need to know to prepare mistake-free presentations.
